Herma has announced it has achieved a Platinum rating in the EcoVadis sustainability audit for the first time, placing the company among the top 1% of companies assessed globally over the past 12 months.

The recognition follows a Gold rating last year and reflects significant progress in HERMA’s environmental performance, with its score rising from 69 to 94 out of 100. Key contributors included ISO 14001 certification, participation in the CDP rating with an above-average score, verification of the company’s carbon footprint, and expanded sustainability reporting across all subsidiaries.

“Receiving the Platinum medal for the first time is a strong signal to us that we have once again been able to substantially improve our sustainability performance,” says Marcus Gablowski, chief sustainability officer at Herma. “It is particularly important to us that such results are not based on individual measures, but on a systematic and long-term approach.”

Herma says the rating underscores its continued focus on transparency, environmental performance, and long-term sustainability initiatives across its labeling and materials operations.
